Aims and Objectives

We believe education is a loving and gradual process of building up, grooming up, refining and polishing of a human being right from womb to tomb and we make our sincere efforts to achieve this with ever echoing music of Indian culture and traditions. We intend to groom up our children to face the ever increasing challenges of life and to develop in them a global perspective and analytical approach.

SKM Public School is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi via affiliation no. 1730232. School No. is 10574. The school is affiliated upto senior secondary and having co-education.

Curriculum

SKM Public School follows Periodic Assessment System (Term 1+ Term 2) as per the guidelines set by CBSE. Co-scholastic activities are given due importance. Whole school is divided into four houses and inter-houses competitions are organized in sports, academics, music and art through out the year.

Scheme of Examination

Class IX-X Session: 2021-2022

Annual Assessment: 80 Marks in each subject
9th School based & 10th Board based covering syllabus as per CBSE guidelines due to Covid-19.
Marks & Grades based on 8 Point Grading.

Internal Assessment: 20 Marks in each subject
1. Pre MT1- 25 Marks + Pre MT2- 25 Marks = 50 Marks.
2. Mid Term- 50 Marks.
3. Post MT1- 25 Marks + Post MT2 - 25 Marks = 50 Marks.
Best 2 result out of above three ie. 50+50=100 Marks.
10% Weightage of this 100 will be taken.
*Note Book & Subject enrichment activity will be assessed out of 5 each, in Pre & Post Mid Term & the best score will be taken for final result.

Final Internal Marks-
10% Weightage - 10 Marks
Note Book - 05 Marks
Activity - 05 Marks
Total - 20 Marks.
Final Result- Internal Assessment(20) + Annual Assessment(80) = 100 Marks
